GENERAL ACCOUNTANT

1. Core Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping: Record internal management and tax ledgers, including purchases, sales, inventory (in/out), advances, accounts payable/receivable, expenses, tools & equipment allocation, fixed asset depreciation, payroll, and social insurance allocation.
• Voucher Verification: Review the accuracy of cash receipts/disbursements, bank transfer orders, contracts, subcontractor statements, site labor wages, and inbound/outbound invoices.
• Reconciliation: Monitor and reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) on a periodic basis.
• Cost Accounting: Balance inventory, project costs, and revenues; calculate cost of goods sold (COGS) and project profit margins.
• Project Tracking: Create project codes, monitor construction costs, and collaborate with relevant departments to complete project documentation.
• Tax & Compliance: Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly tax returns and annual financial statements; issue invoices, prepare payment requests, and liaise with tax authorities and banks as required.

2. Authority

• Audit and propose adjustments for unbalanced accounts.
• Execute journal entries and adjust supporting documents (without changing the monetary values).
• Gather and process accounting documents and data upon request.
• Perform financial period/year-end closing activities in accordance with corporate policies.

3. Reporting Lines

• Monthly/quarterly VAT and Personal Income Tax (PIT) reports.
• Weekly Accounts Receivable (AR) reports.
• Annual Financial Statements and statistical reports.

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a General Accountant or Tax Accountant (experience in construction/civil engineering sectors is a major plus).
• Skills: Proficient in MS Excel, Word, with strong business writing and document drafting skills.
